Host do most users handle Action Menu Items? Do they just set up a separate web server running a python framework like django and use https protocol? Or, are folks using custom protocols? A custom protocol would requires some sort of cross-platform install, is that correct? Are there any example ansible scripts available that can register a custom protocol/uri scheme on windows/mac/linux?
