The FAQ says:
"The Import menu under the File menu is used to assign LUT and CDL files to either the source’s Look or File pipelines. Additionally, LUT files can be assigned to the Pre-Cache and Display."
but when I try to import a CC or CCC file, it says "ERROR: Unknown LUT file format cc/ccc". I can apply them automatically with the Custom LUT package but that takes away any interactivity. It would be great to be able to import them, or drag and drop them like you can a LUT

That is my fault. That is a feature in the next version of our release but it isn't in the current release. If you would like to try out the new pre-release please create a private ticket and I will send you the link to download it.

Can you please tell me where found that documentation you quoted? We plan to add options like you described in our next release, but that is only in the pre-release development build at the moment. Can you please tell me which version of RV you are using and on which platform?
