I work at a studio where several users are interested in using RV. We access Shotgun through a site that was set up for us. I believe this is called "hosted" Shotgun. Does each user have to download RV individually?
Sorry for the newbie questions, but I could not find a clear answer in the docs.

Every user will need access to the RV application. You can install it in a shared location or individually download it. That is up to you, but, yes, everyone needs access to a copy.

Cool. So I could install it on a server and have everyone make a shortcut to it? Is it that simple?
Is there one way that is better than the other? Does Tweak recommend that each individual download it or do they recommend installing it in a shared location?

It depends on your network speed and to some extent operating system. RV tends to load slowly when launched from a shared location on Windows for example, but not always.
I think you should download and test for yourself.
