Adding exr metadata to burn-in and slate

I am trying to find a good way to run out dailies to our clients, who need all sorts of stuff burned in. The info i need to add is in the metadata of the exr sequence, and just needs to be added to a slate and then burned into the quicktime. I'm at a loss... I've tried modifying the timecode burnin script but i cant get the exr metadata in there ?
