My team would like to be able to view quicktime videos encoded with the free DNxHR codec that AVID provides. (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/download/Avid-QuickTime-Codecs-LE).
My team is currently working with RV 6.2.6 on Windows 7 and Windows 10.

We really need this feature as well. Unfortunately, DNxHD is severely limited in resolution choices, while the HR variant introduced "resolution independence." We'd really like to be able to use RV for movie playback using this expanded codec.
Is this really an extended "new" licensing thing, or simply a matter of compiling a newer version of their library?
We definitely need this feature as well. As we're running out UHD DNXHR we need to be able to review these within RV. Currently only able to open these files in Quicktime 7 which isn't ideal for our workflow. We're on RV 7.2.5
We are transitioning to dnxhr, from prores. would really like to be able to use rv to view the files. We are currently using the same fall back workflow as Christopher has mentioned above.
