We have a super fast cache drive on our review station, and I would like RV to cache and read of that drive.
Our DPXs are stored on a network drive. What I would like is when I launch RV to view the sequence (4K), that it copies the DPX to our fast drive on the review station and then start playing.
I have a custom py script to do just that, but I'm just wondering if its possible to choose the cache location for RV.

There is nothing in RV like that at the moment. Copying the files locally yourself is the only way for now.

Might be a nice option for future releases. A choose where you want to cache option. :D
