Trouble getting Screening Room for RV to work

I have been setting up Shotgun and Screening room for the website does work but I can't get it working for RV.  I heard a rumor SG Review was replacing it, is this the case?

    Hi Caine,

Screening Room is still fully functional and SG Review currently is set up as a separate product.  Let's get your Screening Room set up.

Can you describe what you've tried?  Screening Room isn't enabled by default in RV, but you can easily turn it on in the preferences.  Open up RV>Preferences>Packages you will find a screen where you can enable/disable packages.  Make sure that 'Screening Room for RV' and 'Shotgun Integration' have both the installed and load checkboxes.  To prevent confusion, also ensure that the 'Screening Room for RV' does not have the load checkbox. Once you've made those change, close or restart RV.

On the shotgun site, go to the site preferences and under the 'Shotgun Review' section, disable Shotgun Review.

After making those changes, RV should now have Screening Room enabled, and links opening from Shotgun to RV should be in a format that Screening Room responds to.

Can you make sure all those settings are set, if it still doesn't work, please let me know what messages you get in the RV Window>Console, and what buttons/menu options you are trying?

    Thanks!

Thanks Kessler.  So this does get Screening room for RV working, however Shotgun Review is now not working.  It appears you cannot have both working at the same time, is this the case?

Technically, they can be side-by-side without interfering with each other, but your site can only generate links for one integration at a time.

However, In a practical sense, yes; you should only have one of the two, Screening Room or Shotgun Review, active at a time.  Shotgun Review is only really useful if you can send links to it (as it doesn't have its own media browser) and having both open at the same time is confusing, since they use different metadata in the session.
