I've noticed that the API doesn't let you access the "open_notes_count" column on tasks. Would it be a big deal to add this? I'm sure we can find a workaround if so, but otherwise it would be handy for us!

KP The "open_notes" and "open_notes_count" fields on Task are special fields so they act a bit differently than regular fields on Task. However, I think that they should act as any other field accessible via the UI. I have added this internally as ticket #6590.
