24 hour clock

Hi Support

Would it be possible to allow a change in the Prefs the time format to the 24hr clock?

    Happy to say this is available in the 7.0.5.0 release that's out today. You'll find it in the Site Preferences > Formatting section.

    Hey John,
    We don't currently have support for changing the display of time to be 24hr, but we do have a ticket for that (part of expanding the formatting options for a bunch of field types, like other ways to format numbers and dates).  I pinged our ticket on this so will make sure to consider it when putting together the next sprint.

    Hi Issac,

    This would be great! We also would like to change to military time in SG as it is the company standard.

    Agreed would be helpful to be able to use the 24h format.

    A couple of reasons:

    - According to wikipedia am/pm is only used in about 20 of 196 countries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12-hour_clock)

    - the 24h clock saves screen real estate 

    - its easier to type in when setting a time manually
