For local linking everybody is asking for this.
Don't know if has to be stored in a cookie (or if its a vulnerability risk), just per session, but definitely with the actual Java File chooser is a PITA to traverse every time all the way to some folders in a project.
We are developing some ingesting tools that will overcome this issue in the future, but meanwhile... specially for those studios without API access.
