We've heard feedback from clients who want the ability to add more tabs across a Detail Page rather than having only 4 custom tabs (6 including the Overview and Info tabs) and the rest in the 'More' dropdown. Clients would like to utilize the space on the page to add their additional important tabs so that they are always visible by default.
Please add your support to this ticket if you'd like the ability to customize how many Tabs appear on the Detail Page.

To make this request a bit more clear and specific - we already have the ability to add new menu items but they are hiding under "more" drop down menu which makes them not so easy to access, so my suggestion is to have them all visible since we have a lot of empty space on the right.
Still, keeping (optional) menu tab "more" is a good idea. For example, in our case "Overview" and "Info" tabs are not used often and work just as distructing extra elements. So, i have a suggestion to optionally grouping menu tabs you don't use often under "more".

It's also confusing how the Tab in the 2nd to last position is not permanent.

I can confirm that we have plans to do this, as well as add some clarity to that second to last tab's behavior. The new behavior will show as many tabs as can fit across the detail page, then show additional tabs in the more menu. This will update dynamically as you resize the page. @Jean Francois, not yet. We didn't hear as much feedback about those "top tabs" as we did about the lower ones on detail pages, so we started here first. We haven't forgotten about the top tabs, so it's only a matter of priority on when we do them. Do you think they should behave exactly like these?

actually yes .. i think both should behave the same way. it's not rare for us to have a dozen of those top tabs and we end up having to re-order them constantly as priorities change, having them all laid out would save us some time for sure
so my vote: same behavior (that seems to work nicely so far)

We've definitely heard this feedback from others and are considering a future polish to that menu. Our intent with this first pass was to get something out quickly since the majority of clients had 6 or less items and was going to be easier/faster to expose a set number (6) rather than as many as can fit. But we agree that the "as many as can fit" option would be better.
I'd recommend making another feature request for this one and we'll keep an eye on how many other clients have the issue, too. Then we'll prioritize accordingly! Thanks, as always, for the feedback.

This request was released in December of last year. Now lower tabs on detail pages will show as many as your screen width can accommodate. Any remaining tabs will be collapsed under the "More" section.
I was actually thinking about the top tabs. Not in details, but page tabs.

Perfect, thanks! We'll monitor that post to gauge interest and listen to community feedback to see if there's any facet about having more tabs at the top of the page that we aren't taking into consideration.
Hi, Brandon, how about my request (May 12, 2014 10:56 PM) on removing "More" tab from the page "saved filters menu" as long as you have space on the left? Should we add it to the new feature request by Jimmy or leave it here or.. create a separate request?
Since this request was about detail pages, adding anything you'd like to see changed about top level page tabs to the new feature request would be the best place to put that info.
