Save Filters and Page Layout in the Crew Planning App

We've received feedback from clients that they'd like the ability to save Advanced Filter settings, Timeline Navigation preferences, and Row Height Zoom settings in the Crew Planning App.

Please add your 'Me too' to this request if you'd like to see this supported in the future.

How about this same features also for the Project Timeline App? They are pretty much the same in terms of GUI and our producers are using both, so for sake of sanity it would be logical.

    Hi guys,

We haven't gotten to this one yet, but it is now possible to share Custom Filters, which would allow admins to make the most-used Booking filters and send them out to other users:

We're still planning on the feature listed in this post, though I would be interested to hear if the one we released this week helps.

    Cheers,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
It works fine, but it would be more cool if the users you are sharing the filter with get some sort of automatic notification to let them know. You know, some of them just don't noticed and others get kind of confused about new filters appearing.

    Cheers

This feature is being released tomorrow as part of 5.3.33. We added a new section to the admin menu for both Project Timeline and Crew Planning called "Layouts". Just like you're able to in Review Notes, you'll be able to create saved layouts of the sort, filters, and date ranges you specify in each app. Let us know how it works when it comes out!
