Currently the Project Navigation can be customized only inasmuch as choosing which entity landing pages are displayed. We've heard from many of our clients they would like the ability to put any Project Page in the Project Navigation. Would this be useful to you? Are there any use cases I'm leaving out? Be sure to vote and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Nephi Sanchez Official comment Hi Everyone,
Excited to let you all know that with today's release of 7.11 we have now added the ability to add your custom pages to a project's navigation! Check out the complete release notes of 7.11 here:

Jacob Medendorp Yes, please! It is especially useful to be able to have multiple Version pages up there. For instance, the Art department may navigate pages in an entirely different way from the Lighting department, yet both departments rely on the Version entity to view their work. In the past I have "hijacked" unused entity landing pages and replace with other entities in order to get them up on the project navigation bar.

Alexey Borzykh must have
-
Georg-Sebastian Dressler Definately a must have. Would give quicker access to filtered Asset/Shots pages, instead of clicking the assets page, loading the whole list and then set a filter.
A customizable Button with a dropdown Menu including links to filtered pages (Assets, Shots) may be useful to not overflow the NavBar, but would be also giving options for the content.
Added a mock up pic , of how it could be like. Just an idea

Ritodd Definitely interested in this.

Alexey Borzykh Following the idea of Georg-Sebastian i'd suggest RMB click on the menu item instead of having extra visual element. The reason is to keep GUI as ascetic as possible along with more functionality. Little tiny elements ere: mostly being missed by users (search field arrow for the drop down filters is a good example here), forcing user to do precise aim before click, makes GUI heavier and messy.

David Rix We have created one or two embedded-URL pages (internet and intranet) so that our users can find everything they need via the Shotgun site. It would be great if we could put some of these front-and-center on the navigation bar.
-
Gary Chadwick Would love to be able to do this.
-
Jakub Grobelny +1 for me too.
-
Matt Plummer +1 Bump. This would be really very handy.
-
Christopher Heckey Another +1
-
Jagadish Kumar +1
-
Sachin Shrestha Voting this up as it would be a super useful feature to have. Especially with the new analytics graphs, users can build project report pages and add that to the navigation bar.
-
Heather Dinkins we really need this ability. having multiple templates for a variety of show sizes and not having the ability to easily add back in only the best attributes from current like-minded projects makes maintaining a relevant template challenging. voting this up!

Jagadish Kumar Thanks, Team Shotgun, is there some documentation on how to add custom pages to a projects navigation. There is no mention of this feature on the release notes.
Thanks,
Jagadish
-
Brandon Foster Hi Jagadish,
Sorry for the premature announcement! A critical bug was found with the feature immediately before release, so it was pulled so we could address it. You'll see this in the next patch release (7.11.1.0) at which point you'll see it in the release notes with a link to documentation.

Heather Dinkins really looking forward to having this on our site. it's a HUGE plus, but wondering how soon the ability to remove one will be made available? adding one by accident is all too easy, it would be a good add to be able to edit that custom setup and trim it down as needed to keep things tidy.
-
Rachit Singh Hey Guys,
Just wondering if this ever got added back? I can't seem to find any documentation on this.
Thanks,
Rachit
-
Jagadish Kumar @Rachit: Go to any custom page and from the page options on the top right-hand corner, there is now an option to add that page to the navigation.
Thanks, team shotgun, this feature is now available in the latest release of Shotgun.

Rachit Singh @Jagadish, that totally worked.
