Organizing Shotgun notifications by threads in email clients

If Shotgun notifications were threaded & grouped in our email clients it would make it much easier to organize and work with them.
Turns out it that would be rather easy to do by just setting the References and In-Reply-To header information during email generation.
Then our email clients would automatically group them together into one conversation for example by shot/asset or task.
