Currently, pushing out or reverting to a new project template will cause some page ID's to change. This causes frustration for users who have their favorite pages bookmarked, as they are then forced to navigate to the page and re-set their bookmarks. This also means any standard pages that have been linked to in a studio's internal documentation may need to be updated frequently. For studios where they frequently update project templates to maintain uniformity across projects, this can be a real headache.
For this reason, it has been requested that all Shotgun pages always maintain the same page ID, to avoid the overhead of regularly resetting bookmarks and documentation links. Click 'Me Too!' to vote up this feature, and add any additional thoughts or use cases in the comments.
