preference for saving an rv file in binary

Hey there -

I was hoping there might be some way to save an rv session out of rv in binary format? A pref for "save session as binary"? see ticket: https://support.shotgunsoftware.com/requests/52816 for some details, but basically I would just like to write a session in binary to speed up the read.
