This is actually just an extension of functionality of the "Hide Global Nav" option on advanced permissions. Not everyone here uses all of these items but everyone can see all of these items. I know other companies have different usage for these things so they shouldn't be removed permanently. But if we have the option to hide them individually (maybe by permission group), it would be less confusing for our users. Bonus would be for us to be able to add items to the global navigation bar similar to the project navigation.
