Slack is a team communication tool that is being used more and more in the workplace for quick communication.
Our team is using Slack for occasional approvals; it is very easy to post an image in a channel, get the attention of the approving authority, and get resolution in a matter of seconds. This allows us to be very quick with our approvals - rather than having to have a dedicated review meeting we can get feedback almost immediately on a case by case basis.
Currently this requires a producer or someone similar to capture any feedback given in Slack over to Shotgun if we are to keep a record of it.
It would be awesome if there were some form of integration tool that would allow submissions within Slack with feedback being recorded into Shotgun.
