iPhone app capability to display media from network

While the ability to access Shotgun from an iPhone/iOS device is intriguing, it offers limited usability for sites who host most of their media on a network filesystem.  Where iPhone recognizes an extension, like *.mov or *.jpg, there's a missed opportunity to view content - especially when the device is being used on an internal wireless network.  Adding an ability to pull media from the filesystem as well as the local server will greatly increase the application's usefulness.
