Option to show short code or long name (instead of only the symbol) for Status fields / columns

Currently Status fields only display the symbol of the currently selected Status. Some people would like the option to display the short code or long name of the Status instead. You can see this information on mouse-over in the tooltip, but it would be useful to have it there on the page, at a glance.

  please support long form with the exporting functionality - getting the full human readable name would be a big time saver.

  I'm repeatedly getting this request from my production managers.

   

  When production managers are juggling priorities on hundreds of shots and thousands of tasks, having to constantly translate from symbol to meaning slows down their ability to reason and make decisions.  They all tell me that using words instead of symbols makes them more efficient, and is one of the great attractions of Google Docs over Shotgun.  It's an unnecessary cognitive load.

   

  This might not be as big a deal in 3D production, but in the high-throughput world of 2D it makes a difference.

  You've got a couple of built-in statuses which use text (Active, CBB, Disabled), so I assume that there's nothing that would need to be changed on the status display side.

  An alternative that might be easier for you to implement and would meet our needs: Instead of resizing the PNGs to 16x16, resize them to 16px high and keep the aspect ratio.  Then we could simply put the text in images.
