Can templates update all layouts based on the template?

This might be somewhat of an obvious question but do the templates that you base a layout on continue to be linked to the pages afterwards? I would like to be able to change a template and have the option of updating all the pages that are based on it dynamically. This would be great if you have many many pages that you just decide you would like to add another column to or if you had changed the global way the information needs to be formatted.

What do you think?

As of v1.12, Admin users can create default layouts for every entity type's list page, detail page, and new entity form. Then on any regular page (if you have the correct permissions) you can reset that page's layout to match the defined default layout.

Alternately, if you want to update an entire Project and replace the Pages with newly configured ones, you can modify the pages in the Template Project folder of the Admin section in the left nav. Then right click on the Project folder of the Project you want to update and select "Reset Project from Template Project", which will delete all of the Pages in the Project and replace them with the newly configured pages from the Template Project (you can also do this in reverse and update the Template Project from the Project pages).

Aside from that, there is currently no sustained "link" between Pages and the defaults or templates they are originally based upon.
