Under Asset there is a Tab called Reference...

What can I do with it?

  Hey Bryan,

  That's a files tab, so you can upload files there, and a lot of clients have reference images for assets (like concept art) that they like to see there.  The tabs are actually configurable though (you can right-click on the tabs to change the ones there, re-arrange them, or add a new one).

  To upload a file, click the [+] button at the top of the tab.

  As of v1.12, sadly, bulk importing isn't available yet. But it is definitely on our roadmap and tracked in our Feature Requests forum here https://support.shotgunsoftware.com/entries/53651-bulk-upload. 

  I know some clients have whipped together a simple Python script to do this via the API for now which you could do. Feel free to post anything you come up with in our forums if you want to share with the community!
