Playlist notes email notification not working?

When you add a note via the playlist, no email is being sent. The note is entered, linked to artist, shot and version, just no email. Is this a bug or user error?

    Hi Ed,


    Can you double check that the person(s) that the note is addressed to have their email notifications turned on?  If you're an admin you can check this from a People page - just bring on the field 'Subscribe to My Notes Emails' and verify that the box is checked?  Then from that same page, double check that the User's email is valid.  If both of these things check out then it's a bug and we'll dig deeper!

    Having the same problem AND artist missed all client notes on an emergency job. 

    Settings above are already set for this user.
