Can I use Groups, and assign things/address notes to a Group, rather than typing out each person individually?

Groups were made precisely so that you can do this kind of thing. For example, say you want to be able to address a note, or assign a task to 'Animation' instead of typing out all 10 animators individually. Here's how you would do that:
First go to the Groups page in the Admin section:
Next, create a new Group by clicking on the '+' button in the toolbar:
Now a form will pop up where we give the Group a name,"Animation", and populate it with all the Animators:
Now just click "Create Group" and you're done! Now that Group will be available for Tasks, Notes, etc. If you do encounter a field that doesn't accept groups, right click on that field (you have to be an admin) and then click "Configure Field" and in the dialog that pops up you can enable Groups as a valid entity.

Juanmaria Garcia Hi Laura. It is the user "face"at the top right corner of the Shotgun page. You must be an Admin in order to see the "Groups" option. If you are not, you will see a very short list of options.
