I'm looking for a way to have shotgun send email notifications when a new version is created. Right now when an artist dailies their work, we have shotgun log that info as a new version of a shot. It would be really helpful to have shotgun automatically send an email that there is work ready to be reviewed. Right now I can only find a way to get emails for Notes, Tickets, Deliveries, and Tasks. Is this not an option, or am I missing a setting, anyone have a work around?

Hi Ed, we agree this should be a notification option, but it's not in there yet. We just decided to include this in the 2.1 release, which is due out in about 7 weeks (2.0 coming this weekend).
There is a workaround if you have a pipeline dev there who can write a python script. You can look for any new Versions, and then make a note addressed to the right people who need the notifications (or the script can just send an email instead of going through our Notes to do that). Any dev support there you can tap into?
