It appears that you can create filters based on current users, but not by the project if the overview page is nested inside a project. At least I can't figure out how to do it. I had to explicitly query by the project name, but this doesn't work out for templates.

Stephen Chiu Viet, doing some house-cleaning on the forums and wanted to inform you that this was resolved in a release since you posted this inquiry. You can now query "Current Project" on entity and multi-entity links that supports the project entity type.
