Is there a way to change the Open Notes icon based on note type?

Currently we have different types of Open Notes (such as internal, client, vendor, etc.,). However, the in the Open Notes column, the same icon appears regardless of note type. Is there a way to assign a different icon to each type so when scanning the column it is easy to see which notes are which? Currently, we are adding the note type into the subject field (e.g., client note 02/10) but that seems a bit redundant since we already have assigned a type for each note.

Kimberly, this is a popular request, and it's officially on our 2011 Roadmap. The new feature will be an extension of our Query Fields feature, allowing users to query and return a comma separated list of values (e.g. in your case, it would be a new field that returns all the body fields of open Client notes).

For the time being, you can create new fields on the Shots page that queries for open 'client' notes, and 1) return the total count, which you can click on to access the note details, and/or 2) display the 'latest' client note. Perhaps creating both could be helpful?
