How to hide the leftnav's + button?

hi,

      Is there a way to hide the leftnav's + button? We hope that somebody only view partly records of an entity but not all.

  Hi Zhy,

   

  We do have a permission setting that will allow you to hide the entire left nav, which includes the + button.  Will this do the trick?

   

  Here's how to do that:

  - Go to the Admin > Permissions page

  - Open the permission role you are interested in

  - Click open the 'advanced' pod, then check 'hide leftnav pane'

  - Save

  

   

   

  Let me know if this is works.

      Thanks for your reply.

       What we really want is limitting the records number of an entity that user could view. We hope that somebody only view partly records of an entity but not all. And the left navigator should be always there.

      I would love to hear any ideas as well.

  Hi Zhy,

   

  Okay - I think perhaps what you are after can be accomplished by managing which fields can be seen on a given entity.

   

  Try going to the Admin > Permissions page, and adjusting the settings inside the 'Field Permissions' pod:

  Hi Nephi,
  
     Maybe i did not make myself clear.
     Perhaps an example is better.We OF dividied the users into two groups，A and B.We would like GroupA users only could review the information of users in GroupA.Also Group B users only could see the information of users in Group B. How can I do that?
