The current default value for the Note comes up as "Davey's Note on vfx-###" which is a little unwieldy. Is it possible to set a new default for the field, or default to blank?

Right now we set the default Subject for you if you don't set it explicitly. Before 2.4, we left the Subject blank, but we realize this is probably something you'd like to configure (just like you can with email notification subjects). Do you have any thoughts on how the UI would work for this? Would it be similar to the Site Preferences > Email Layouts and User Defaults section where you just specify fields to display in the subject of Notes linked to each entity type? Let me know your thoughts.

Jamison Huber I realize this is over a year old, but I don't think this has changed. The new notes app is killer, but if I'm not entering multiple notes with specific versions, the single entry with the default subject line that I cannot change is a pain in the butt. Being able to specify the default subject line just like you can in the Email Layouts would be awesome.
