Hi,
I managed to create task templates, to modify them and propagate to every entity with said template but i could not find in the forms how to assign by default a task template to a entity type.
I did find how to create an entity with a task template programmitically but nothing in the UI. Do this functionnality exist ?

Hi Deboute,
Thanks for the question. There are a few ways to include a Task Template when creating a new entity, in the case of my example, a Shot:
1) When you launch the new Shot creation form, load the "Task Template" field on the form using the little gear menu at the to right -> "Configure Layout...". Choose your Task Template, create the Shot, and it will automatically get tasks.
2) Create a Page of Shots, then configure add the following Page Filter in the Filter Panel:
[Task Template] [is] [name_of_your_template]
Any Shot created from this Page will have this Task Template by default.
We don't have a way to set global defaults in the Shot form just yet, but it's a request we've heard before and would consider doing in the future.

So there is no way to propagate a Task Template to all the Entities from a same Type via the ui interface, that's all right i'll cook up some script
