The user case here is that for a model asset there is a rig pipeline step. We also have a rig entity. When creating a rig task for a certain asset and that assets rig I would like to link that to both the rig and the asset so when completed it shows up on both entities. That doesn't seem to be possible since a task can only be linked to one entity. Am I doing something wrong? How do others deal with cases like these?

Armando Ricalde You could automatically duplicate the task for the rig entity and keep their Statuses synced with a trigger. But there will be 2 task assigned to the artist.
Maybe a good idea would be to update the Status of the rig entity based on the Status of the task for the Asset, and not to assign a task to the rig itself, don't you think? -
Nils Lerin Thanks for the suggestions Armondo. The first approach feels a bit too much like a hack but the second one could work nicely, I'll go with that one.
