Traditional Calendar View?

  I see mentions of Calendar views in the documentation but when I try to make a page, I see no option for a calendar view type. My production crew would like to have the option to view a calendar GUI like iCal or Google Calendar (the month is a grid of days with task/assignment information inside cells).

  Does such a view exist in Shotgun or should I plan on writing a separate tool which queries Shotgun for all the data?

    I agree. This would be extremely helpful for all our production to steer away from having to use Google Calendars for tracking due dates. We are attempting to utilize the start and due date with the Gannt Display along with the beta Project Timeline. We are hitting a wall with both.
