Does the Status of a Task automatically change to In Progress?

Does the Status of a Task automatically change to In Progress once it is started by the person assigned to it?

Or do they have to change the status themselves?

    Hi Kathleen,

    Task statuses currently don't have any inherent automation to them. The status would need to be changed in the UI by a person, or if you are familiar with Python, you can create some scripts to automate the process using our Python API.
