Job Title and Number: Shotgun Street Team 1101

Location: London, UK (or other EMEA location)

 

Responsibilities:

·Coordinate with the Street team to solve technical challenges faced by our clients

·Partner with the other Pipeline Engineers to coordinate and balance the load across geographical regions

·Develop expertise on Shotgun, Toolkit, and RV, their APIs and scripting capabilities, and share your knowledge with the entire Shotgun community

·Amaze clients and potential clients with exceptional attention and detailed follow-through

·Support the growth of the client base by providing timely solutions to technical constraints

·Work with the entire Street Team to promote Client Health and Happiness on a daily basis - using GoTo Meeting, HipChat, Email, Wiki, Phone, Shortwave Radio - whatever you need to get the job done

·Balance your time, proactively heading off problems and reactively addressing client requests

·Track issues and make recommendations to improve internal workflows. Work with other Pipeline Engineers to improve internal processes

 

Requirements:

·Experience applying your Shotgun knowledge on a Film, VFX, Animation, or Games Production

·2 Years of Pipeline Development (Pipeline ATD/TD/Developer)

·Experience developing Pipelines using Shotgun

·Exposure and familiarity with the Shotgun Python API

·Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills

·Self-motivated and ability to self-manage

·Able to accommodate occasional domestic and/or international travel

·College diploma/degree or equivalent work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience with JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Linux, PostgreSQL

·Experience with Asset Management and Review and Approval systems

·Exposure to multiple workflows (VFX/Animation/Episodic/Commercial/Games)

·Involvement in Industry Groups/Events (Siggraph, VES, etc.)
