Shotgun File Manager Task order

Howdy,

I am just wondering what determines the task order while in the Shotgun File Manager?

They seems pretty random.

Hello!

The tasks are listed in pipeline step order, e.g. the order that is defined in the pipeline step dialog in Shotgun:

(check out the code here!). It looks like you may be using a slightly older version of the app - if you upgrade to the latest version, it also includes the pipeline step name next to the task name!
