Hi Tomas,
No sorry, at the moment RV cannot read (and RVIO cannot write) timecode from quicktime movies. We have got the request occasionally, so everyone should feel free to vote here (click the Me Too button) if they think this feature is important.

The next version of rv 3.10 beta (3.10.3) will use the timecode track in quicktime files to set the start frame number. The timecode value will be display in the image info.

Can RVIO be used to extract a frame sequence given a timecode range?
You can convert your timecode to image and use the command "rvio myMovie.mov -t 17378-17385 -o myNewMovie.mov"
is it possible to write timecode to quicktimes now? doesn't look like it which would mean I'd have to abandon rvio for the current job.
