When i open preferences on RV menu the soft closes

When i open preferences on RV menu the soft closes, i am on archlinux kernel 3.11 gnome 3.8.

    Hi Rémy,

    Please let me know what version of RV you are using.

    If the crash goes away by launching with "-noaudio" to your launch command line then I think it is related to a crash with pulseaudio. If so please read:

    This is the error message when i try to launch it via terminal

    Dump path: /tmp/2f0b3951-7e74-78fd-1ce53878-52a05c42.dmp
    Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)

    the --noaudio or --noprefs does'nt work

    Sorry, the version of RV is 4.0.8 when i launch with noaudio it works, but there is no sound :(
    Is there a fix ?

    I have read the previous post that you share as link but i don't know exactly what to do.

    Hi Rémy,

    That confirms my suspicions about the source of the crash. Though we do not usually test on Arch Linux I still think the solution here is to remove any pulseaudio packages that you can from your system and try running RV again.
