In RV when viewing a sequence you get missing a corrupt frames. Log?

We have to QC a lot of footage and getting RV to go through and log all missing or corrupt frames so we can tackle them before doing a proper QC of the footage would be really useful. Is there a way to do this in RV, basically an analysis log of the sequence.

Is this already a feature and I'm not looking for it in the right place? If not do you have or can you recommend any tools that would help with this. A thing that also happens is corrupt frames that are still readable. We often find these by checking the file sizes and when they jump down on a single file it flags it as a potential issue. A visual size analyser would be useful as well.

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.

All the best

Phil

    Hi Phil,

I think checking the size is a good approach. I think you might also benefit from using commands.existingFramesInSequence. Please take a look at that and tell me if that is what you are looking for.

    Thanks,
    Jon
