Wondering if we could make the drawing panel horizontal instead of vertical, or give the user the option. I find it is always stamped over my wide images when its open. Is it possible to also decrease the size of the icons? Anyhow more of a preference than a user request.

Shervin, we've talked about having a horizontal replacement or option for this. My guess is that when we revisit annotation we'll do something about the UI. The other thing people have complained about is the color picker's prominence on that panel. We have a fairly long feature request list for annotation in general so its only a matter of time.
