Custom anaglyph colors

Hi, is there a way to define custom anaglyph colors? We'd love to use something that doesn't change luminance as much as red-cyan does. Cheers, Nico

    Nico,


    We usually desaturate the display when using anaglyph mode (shift+s then scrub left/right). This reduces the visual confusion over the colors and lets you judge the 3D effect more clearly.


    It should be possible to write an RV package that adjust the per-channel color settings when you are anaglyph mode. That would let you, for example adjust just the red channel. But there is no way to use custom colors for the left/right separation.

    That's too bad. I had hoped on using magenta/green. Well, maybe I'll try increasing luminance on the red channel a little. Nico

    Hey Nico,

    Do you have Magenta/Green glasses? Magenta/Green or Yellow/Blue would not be hard to add (any combination of channels). I will add that to our list of feature requests.

    Our stereo guy told me today that he'd prefer magenta/green above red/cyan, that's why I was looking into this issue. So a magenta/green mode would be very handy.
