I'm using Shotgun on this project in an unfamiliar way. I'm doing animatics for an upcoming project and sending my shots to an editor who is at a remote location. I'm already uploading the movie file to Shotgun for Director approvals, so can I also use Shotgun as a delivery mechanism for my shots to the editor or would it be better/necessary to continue using Dropbox? I have not yet found an easy way to download selected files.

    Hey Tony,

    Thanks for your question! Uploading media to Shotgun works great for review purposes, but much less-so as a storage/distribution service. If you need to share a large number of files, I'd recommend sticking with something like Dropbox or another secure file sharing service.
