Within a variety of entities, we have many text fields for the purpose of putting an explicit note against a "thing".
For two examples - within our Shot Entity we have "Editorial Notes", "Client Notes".
While it's understandable to have those visible as explicitly called out items, what we lose is the history and context of when those notes were made in relation to one another.
it would be great to have a hotkey that allows us to create a note against a chosen line item and have the note(s) live where it/they really belong (in the note entity).
we can then solve the reporting issue with either specific query fields, or some other way, but then at least we have the historical events of the shot, asset, etc where it really should show up and can be actively audited.
