Filtering shots by status of pipeline step?

I'm trying to create some dashboards for various teams and I'm trying to figure out how to filter by status of a pipeline step.

I'd like to have a widget that shows my Animation team the status of all active shots. However there isn't really a status for just the individual pipeline step, so I can't figure out how to show, for example, all shots that are "Approved" for the animation pipeline step - the overall shot status won't be set to approved until it's out of final post work.

I know the summary will show as approved if all tasks are approved, but is there any way to access that summary info from a filter in a widget?

    Hi Sean!

    Thanks for your question. There are a couple of options, depending on how you're tracking your Tasks within the Pipeline Step.

    In this example, from my Shots page I'm just filtering for any Anm (Animation) Pipeline Step Task which has the status of final. If you have multiple Animation Tasks per Step, this will return Shots where any Anm Task has a Final status.




    If you want to be more strict; say you have a specifically named Task that signifies the main animation for the Shot you could instead use the filter below. This will only show Shots where both the Anm Pipeline Step Task name is "Animation" AND the status of that Task is Final.
