We need to be have multiple tasks schedule on a single day. we often get tasks that are very short such as Quality Control checks which we need to track but take very little time. we dont want the next dependent task being schedule to start the following day if it doesn't have to and manually shifting the next task to the same day is a pain.
it would also be nice to setup work hours so if the planned time for all tasks in a day exceed the work day hours then they shift to the next day
We use the bid field to contain the info about how long an artist has to execute a task. we want tasks to pile up on a day until the sum of this field through dependent tasks becomes greater than the work day.
basically more robust tools around scheduling and planning resources would be a HUGE help.
